Why did Land-O-Lakes change their logo? Land-O-Lakes never officially released a statement on the reason for changing their logo but they did state that they wanted to phase out the old logo by 2020. There have been comments since then that the logo was outdated and no longer represented the company any longer. The company really wanted to put an emphasis on the farmers and the fact that the company was led and run by Minnostan farmers. Mia is now gone from the butter logo which is good for young Native Americans who growing up thought this was a wrong depiction of their culture but the emptiness it left says a lot for the silence that Native Americans have been put under over the years.
