This exhibit discusses four views of a Blackfoot story robe, dated to before 1856. Story robes were used to visually depict events in the life of an individual or moments in the history of a tribe/community. This story robe, created by an unknown individual from the Blackfeet Nation, was constructed using paint and bison hide.
