View Four: Tiger Skin

Tigers have always represented power and strength. This case is very similar, the use of tiger skin is for the empowerment of the individuals who are hunting. Tigers are seen as predators and never the prey in this case, adding tiger skin means they hope to maintain the power over the prey and be able to succeed as tigers do in the wild. By maintaining this tiger skin, they represented courage which added to their blessing as they danced to hope for all the ideas mentioned to become successful hunters for their tribe as the tribe relied on them for hunting goods. This skin also added value to their clothing items which meant it would be easier for future generations to trade and have value in their items.
