View One: Dance Skirt/Kilt

This item was used for religious dances that were done by the Wichi people. There were many different dances depending on what connections they wanted to get. In this case, one can infer that because of the details that were on the skirt, it could have been a hunting dance which meant that they were dancing for a good hunting season. This skirt/kilt was used by men as they were the ones that were in charge of hunting for their tribe and for trade purposes as well as the Wichi were considered the most economically important group of the Checo Natives in Argentina.
