This gun case was sometime (dated between 1853 and 1929) and was created by the Cree who were a tribe primarily located in northern America which is what is now modern-day Canada, near Lake Superior. However currently they now live mostly in Montana which was a result of their migration west with the American fur trade, this gun case was found in western Canada. The American Fur trade was where the Cree people expanded heavily and mostly traded firearms and firearm accessories, that most likely gave result to items and materials like this gun case. The Cree people were known for mostly hunting large animals such as buffalo,caribou, moose, bear, and beaver. This gun case is mostly made from large amounts of leather, with leather fringes, colored glass beaded images, and designs.
